Task Logs

Creating a Task Log::Part 3

On the right side of a task log, there are fields for email, description, and more.

  1. Summary: defaults to the task name. You may change this to your own summary.
  2. Reference: choose the appropriate reference for the task update (ie. phone call).
  3. URL: a URL for reference purposes can be added to the task here.
  4. Description: Enter a description of the work performed here.
  5. Email Log to: You may optionally email the log to task assignees, contacts, or other recipients.
  6. Problem: if the log references a problem, check this box to flag the task in the project.
  7. Press 'submit' to complete the task log.

You will now find your task log in the following locations: project main page/task logs, timecard.
